A melhor época para visitar o Pantanal é entre maio e novembro, quando os níveis das águas estão mais baixos, o que atrai os animais para áreas mais próximas aos rios. No entanto, é possível visitar o Pantanal durante todo o ano e apreciar as belezas das cheias também.

2 – Preciso ser fotógrafo para participar de um tour?

Não. Nossos tours são destinados tanto a fotógrafos quanto a amantes da natureza, com ou sem experiência fotográfica. Se você gosta de natureza e um pouco de aventura, certamente vai aproveitar a experiência.

3 – O Pantanal tem muitos mosquitos?

Durante a época da seca, não há muitos mosquitos. Contudo, é sempre recomendado levar repelente e usar roupas longas para maior proteção.

4 – O tour é indicado para crianças?

Sim, é indicado. Contudo, sugerimos optar por um passeio privativo, que oferece mais conforto, privacidade e flexibilidade quanto aos horários.

5 – Quantos dias devo passar no Pantanal?

A duração ideal depende do tipo de experiência que você busca. Para uma vivência mais completa, recomendamos um tour entre 4 e 8 dias. No entanto, também oferecemos opções de tours mais curtos, que são uma excelente oportunidade para conhecer o Pantanal.

6- É muito calor no Pantanal?

Durante a estação chuvosa (novembro a março), as temperaturas tendem a ser mais altas e as chuvas são mais frequentes, enquanto na estação seca (abril a outubro), as temperaturas são ligeiramente mais amenas, especialmente durante a noite.

What to expect

An immersive experience in the heart of the Northern Pantanal, combining nature photography, wildlife viewing, and environmental conservation.

Over the course of four days, we’ll travel along the Transpantaneira and navigate the rivers of Encontro das Águas State Park in search of the Pantanal’s incredible biodiversity, with a special focus on observing and photographing jaguars, giant otters, and Pantanal birds.

The workshop will be led by biologist and wildlife photographer Marina Gomes and biologist, tour guide, and photographer Gustavo Gaspari, both of whom are passionate about conservation, photography, and Brazilian wildlife.

Itinerary

Day 1

8:00 a.m.: Meeting in Cuiabá

Departure by van toward Porto Jofre via the famous Transpantaneira Highway.

Along the way, we’ll make several strategic stops to observe and photograph the wildlife and rich biodiversity of the Pantanal, including birds, mammals, caimans, and natural landscapes.

Evening: Opening Lecture

Lecture on:

Ecology and Conservation of the Pantanal
Behavior of Pantanal wildlife
Nature and Wildlife Photography Techniques
Ethics in Conservation Photography

Starring Marina Gomes and Gustavo Gaspari.

Days 2–3

The day starts early with breakfast.
Two days of river expeditions through the rivers that run through Encontro das Águas State Park.

Interpreting Animal Behavior in the Field

Day 4

Breakfast, bird watching at Pousada Piquiri, and return to Cuiabá. We returned transformed, carrying with us the vibrant spirit of the Pantanal.

Marina Gomes

Marina Gomes, 34, is a biologist, wildlife photographer, and environmental educator. Passionate about birds, birdwatching, and Brazil’s biomes, she uses photography as a tool for conservation and connection with nature. Her work documents biodiversity and inspires environmental preservation through images, courses, workshops, and experiences focused on nature photography and environmental education.

Gustavo Gaspari

Gustavo Gaspari, 33, a biologist from São Paulo, has been passionate about animals since childhood.

With a Master's degree in Ecology and Evolution, he worked for years as a guide in the Pantanal before founding his own company.

It seeks to connect people to nature, making them feel closer to animals through photography and social media, as well as offering authentic experiences in the Pantanal.
